I bought the carrier for my cat, who didn't do well in the car. Her old carrier was one of those plastic ones with little holes on the side and the metal cage door. I used this carrier to take her on her first 5 hour trip over the holidays and she did fantastic. It has three ways to get her in - the side, front and top - which is very convenient. She could see all around her and see me, which I think made all the difference. It is rather big for a cat, but I think she enjoyed not being cramped in tiny carrier.

It came already put together and all I had to do was lift up the sides and snap the top bars into place. Though it was fairly easy to do, the fit is tight and it may take a while to get it set up. It does collaspse, which is great for storage. It also has covers that roll up under a flap at the top. When you want to use them, just unroll and they velcro at the bottom. The side and front unzip the entire way to the top and can be rolled up as well. I did this while away for the holidays and left it out and my cat liked to sleep in it - almost like a safe place to stay. Overall, I'd say it is a very good product and worth every penny. -- Good for Travel

The Soft Crate was shipped quickly and was exactly as I expected. It is a very good size, not to large to carry and the option of openings for the sides and top is very convenient. Very nice. My dog loves it!! -- Great buy
