I bought this to carry my cat on a move across the state. I haven't moved yet, but my cat really likes this carrier. He plays in it, so I just leave it out all the time. He's very energetic, but hasn't destroyed anything yet. The quality of the product is very good considering the price. I watched him put his claws into the netting, but he did not tear it. I think it just depends on the cat. He could tear the net if he really wanted to, I'm sure. If your cat is the type to claw through screen doors and windows, maybe get a sturdier carrier. Overall I'm happy with the product. -- Great Value

Really nice carrier- great price. It's really sturdy and easy to carry. I have another carrier that's soft on the bottom so the floor of the carrier bends, and the pet moves around a lot- this one doesn't do that at all- definitely distributes their weight well.

The furry bottom padding sheds a bit, but my cat often sleeps in it when it's in the house (i.e., when she isn't closed in it)- so she seems to like it a lot. It's also convenient that it has several ways to open- you can unzip the end (so that it's like a tube with one end open) or unzip the whole top (like in the picture)- which is a nice feature. It's not the easiest thing to open, but the extra zippers and clips prevent the animals from getting out (I've had several other zip carriers where the cats can somehow get out).

I'm not sure I would go as high as 25 lbs for this carrier though- I have a 16 lb cat and she's just about the right size for it. -- Nice Carrier

I just recently purchased this item so the few times I have used it, it has preformed very well. I have a 7lb. cat that I use this product for. It works great. It can hold a small pet up to 25lbs. or so. Like i said I haven't had a chance to wear it out yet, but I look forward to it. It's crafted from the same great, rugged, dependable & reliable quality you expect from Coleman. The screen doors are thick and the seams are well constructed, I don't think my cat will be able to scratch, claw or gnaw her way out of this one :) It's built to FFA carry-on regulations, and includes a traveling info label just in case something unforeseen happens. If you have a small pet and travel frequently I would recommend this to you. Also, it has a conservative color scheme, which I (amongst others) appreciate. A design function feature that should be noted is that when completely unzipped it turns into a make-shift bed for your pet, another plus for traveling pet owners! -- excellent
